WHO WE ARE

Ever After is a local mother-daughter owned children’s consignment sale, taking place twice a year at the Columbia County Fairgrounds in Chatham, NY.

Formerly known as the “O!Baby Sale,” this event began as an idea in 2009 when Lorraine Warner and Laurie McCarthy realized that with all the stresses of raising a family, there should be an alternative to spending extra time and money traveling to a shopping center. Jennifer Bopp has been a consignor and volunteer at O!Baby since 2012, and has seen the sale grow and have greater reach and impact for parents and grandparents across the region. After 12 years, Lorraine and Laurie stepped down from owning and managing the sale.

Jennifer and her daughter Kaylee decided to pick up operations where they left off in 2021. Ever After hopes to carry on the vision of providing a one-stop sale for gently-used kids items. In 2025, we welcomed Kelly to the Ever After team. A longtime consignor since 2017, Kelly brings over 30 years of experience in retail and pop-up show operations. As a mom of two boys, she understands firsthand how quickly kids grow and how replacing clothing and toys can add up fast. Her passion for helping families save money while supporting sustainability makes her a perfect fit for our mission.

Whether you’re shopping, consigning, or volunteering with us, we appreciate your support and hope to see you at the next sale!

OUR MISSION
Our mission for each sale – whether children or women’s – is to offer a clean and safe venue to purchase new and gently-used items. Our motto: RECYCLE, REUSE, SAVE! Shoppers will find high-quality items at a fraction of what they would pay new, retail or online.

Ever After also offers consignors a way to “pass along” their children’s outgrown items (or their own outgrown or unneeded items at our Women’s Sale), while also realizing a small profit to purchase the next size up, or to save for a trip or a child’s educational fund.

We are also committed to being a good community partner, and giving back to the local community. We have several “charity” consignors who use our sales events as fundraisers, and we give back to many local organizations through our end-of-sale donation drives. Families who donate are able to take their donations as a tax deduction.

The former O!Baby Sale has become a “destination sale” for many and we, at Ever After, hope to continue on with the same success.

We hope to see you at one of our upcoming sale events very soon!
